1. Before the consultation
To set up your consultation and follow-up visit prices, check the article Payments, commissions and Stripe setup.
Once a patient books a consultation, you’ll receive a confirmation email and see the appointment in your Dashboard or the Appointments section.
We recommend:
Checking your microphone and camera in advance
Making sure you’re signed into your Google account (for Meet)
Reviewing any patient comments in the order – sometimes patients leave notes about their request or upload documents
2. Joining the consultation
Sessions take place via Google Meet. The meeting link is visible in the consultation details.
You’ll also receive automatic reminders by email before the session:
Immediately after booking
24 hours before (if booked in advance)
2 hours before (with confirmation prompt)
15 minutes before start
To join:
Go to Appointments or your Dashboard
Open the relevant consultation
Click the "Join consultation" button
3. Confirming your availability
Around 2 hours before the consultation, you’ll see a green "Confirm consultation" button next to the appointment. Please click it to confirm that you’re available and plan to join the session as scheduled.
Confirming your attendance:
Helps our team support you more effectively
Prevents follow-up messages asking for confirmation
Reinforces your reliability within the system
You can still join the consultation without clicking "Confirm consultation", but we strongly recommend using this feature as part of your routine.
4. Conducting the session
During the consultation:
• Introduce yourself clearly
• Ask relevant clinical questions
• Do not share personal contact details or external links
• If you’re consulting a patient from another country, always follow local prescribing rules
For more on working with international patients, see this article.
5. After the consultation: completing the case
Once the session ends, you’ll see one of three options at the bottom of the consultation window – depending on your role and the patient’s location:
+ Add prescription
If you’re authorised to prescribe in the patient’s country, use this option to upload the prescription directly. You can also add notes and attach files if needed.
Fill the form
If you’re not authorised to issue documents in the patient’s country, select this option to submit your clinical notes for review by a local doctor. Include any relevant findings, recommendations, and attached files.
👉 For more details, see How to fill the consultation form.
No documents needed
If the consultation didn’t require any documents or prescriptions, click this to mark it as complete.
💰 The consultation is considered complete only after you choose one of the available post-session actions:
Add a prescription
Submit the form for review
Mark as “No documents needed”
Until then, it will remain in pending status, and the payment process will not begin.
If you submit a form for a local doctor, the consultation will be marked as completed after the local review is finalised.
