How to connect Stripe and receive payouts
To receive payments, you must set up a Stripe account via your Oladoctor profile.
Go to: Payment Center → Stripe Setup
Stripe may ask for the following during setup:
Proof of residential address
A valid passport or residence permit
A bank account in your country of residence
If Stripe is not available in your country, you won’t be able to receive payments until alternative payout methods are supported. We’re actively working on expanding payout options – if you’re affected, please contact our support team so we can notify you once new methods become available.
When and how you get paid
Payments for consultations are processed automatically via Stripe:
Funds appear in your Stripe balance within 1–2 days after each completed consultation
Your first payout to a bank account may take up to 10 days (due to Stripe’s security checks)
After that, payouts usually arrive within 24 hours
You can track all transactions and payouts in your Stripe dashboard.
How commissions work on Oladoctor
The amount you set in your profile is your net earning – this is what you receive for each consultation
Oladoctor adds a service fee on top of your consultation price. This covers:
Access to marketplace infrastructure – including patient booking, automated reminders, and secure video consultations
Technical and customer support for both doctors and patients
Payment processing and invoicing via Stripe
Coordination with local doctors for document issuance (when required by law)
Maintenance of clinical workflows – including consultation forms, follow-up flows, and record storage
Continuous product improvements and platform development
Example: If your consultation fee is €39, the patient may see €69 depending on the service and local document requirements. You always receive your full €39.
For Express services – including Express consultations, Express prescriptions, and Medical certificates – the consultation is handled entirely by a local doctor, in accordance with local laws. In these cases, the platform fee is usually split between Oladoctor and the doctor who issues the required documentation.
Your payout is fixed in advance and shown in your profile. Discounts or service fees do not affect your earnings.
Setting your consultation prices
You can set prices in your profile for:
Initial consultation
Follow-up visit (optional)
To do so, go to: My profile → Add consultation type
You can update your pricing at any time.
