This article explains doctors how to reschedule or cancel a consultation – whether initiated by the doctor or the patient.

Updated over a week ago

Where to find your appointments

Go to My dashboard or the Appointments section in the top menu. Click on the consultation you want to manage to see full details.

Rescheduling a consultation

You can reschedule any consultation up until the scheduled start time.

To reschedule:

  1. Open the consultation in My Dashboard or Appointments

  2. Click Reschedule

  3. Choose a new date and time

  4. Add a comment explaining the reason for the change (this helps the patient and improves trust)

  5. Click Confirm

The patient will receive an email notification with the updated time.

When patients can reschedule

Patients can reschedule their consultation up to 12 hours before the scheduled time. They will receive an automatic confirmation with the new slot.

You’ll get an email when a patient reschedules.

Confirming a consultation

When a patient books a consultation, it will appear in your Dashboard or Appointments section. You’ll also receive reminders by email.

Please confirm each consultation at least 2 hours before it starts. This helps us ensure smooth coordination and avoid unnecessary follow-up messages.

To confirm:

  1. Open the consultation

  2. Click Confirm consultation

That’s all – no further action is needed. Confirming your availability helps us support you better and improves overall reliability of the system.

🔔 If you don’t confirm in time, we may contact you to make sure you’re available.

Cancelling a consultation

If you need to cancel a consultation, please contact our support team as early as possible. We’ll help you process the cancellation and notify the patient.

⚠️ Repeated short-notice cancellations may negatively affect your visibility in search results.

We understand that emergencies or scheduling conflicts happen – just let us know, and we’ll assist you.
