In Poland, the validity of a medical prescription depends on the type of medication prescribed. Standard electronic prescriptions are usually valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Prescriptions for antibiotics are valid for 7 days only. For long-term treatment, a doctor may issue a prescription valid for up to 365 days, provided that the first package is purchased within 30 days from the prescription date.
