Learn how to pay for a consultation on Oladoctor, which payment methods are supported, and what to do if a payment fails.

How are payments made?

Payments are made online — directly to the doctor — via the secure Stripe system. The full amount is charged at the time of booking.

Stripe is a global payment provider that ensures secure transactions. Your card data is encrypted and never stored by Oladoctor. Oladoctor does not hold or process payments through its own accounts.

All payments are processed in euros (€). After payment, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and the order will appear in your Oladoctor account under My Account → My Orders.

Which payment methods can I use?

You can pay using most major cards:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

  • Maestro

  • CB (Cartes Bancaires)

At this time, other payment options (such as PayPal or bank transfer) are not available. If you need an alternative, feel free to contact support — we regularly review feedback.

Where can I find my order details after payment?

Once payment is completed, your order appears automatically in: My Account → My Orders

There you’ll see all appointment information, including date, time, doctor’s name, and service type.

Will I receive a receipt for my payment?

Yes — but receipts are sent upon request.

If you need a receipt, contact Oladoctor support. You’ll receive it by email. The receipt includes:

  • Name of the service

  • Doctor’s full name

  • Amount paid

  • Date and time of payment

  • Payment method

  • Receipt number

Please note: doctors on Oladoctor operate independently. Your payment is made directly to the doctor.

What should I do if my payment didn’t go through?

If your payment fails, try the following:

  1. Check your card

    • Make sure you have sufficient funds

    • Verify your card details are correct

  2. Try a different card or device

    • Some banks block online transactions or international payments

  3. Contact your bank

    • The transaction may have been declined for security reasons

  4. Still having issues?

    • Reach out to Oladoctor support — we’ll help you complete your booking
