Where Oladoctor is available

Learn who can use Oladoctor while traveling in Europe, why physical location matters.

Updated over a month ago

Can I use Oladoctor without living in Europe?

Yes. You do not need to be a permanent resident of a European country to use Oladoctor.

You can access all services if you are physically located in a supported country at the time of your consultation. This applies to:

  • Tourists and short-term visitors

  • Digital nomads and remote workers

  • International students

  • People without public health insurance

  • Citizens of non-EU countries

Why does your physical location matter?

Doctors on Oladoctor follow the medical regulations of the country you are in during the consultation. That’s why your selected country must match your actual location.

This affects:

  • Whether prescriptions or medical certificates can be issued

  • What services are available in your region

  • Whether the doctor can legally provide certain documents

Where is Oladoctor currently available?

You can use Oladoctor if you are physically located in one of the following countries:

  • Portugal

  • Spain

The list of supported countries is growing and will expand over time.

What if I select the wrong country?

If your country is incorrectly set in your Oladoctor profile:

  • The doctor may not be able to issue prescriptions, referrals, or medical certificates

  • Some services might be unavailable

  • The consultation may still happen, but without follow-up documentation

To fix this, update your country in your profile: My Account → Profile → Additional Information → Country

You can only select countries where Oladoctor is currently available. Unsupported countries will not appear in the list.

Important

  • You must be physically in a supported country during your consultation

  • All medical documents are issued only if they comply with local laws

  • Oladoctor is not responsible for incorrect information in your profile

  • All decisions are made by the doctor based on your case and local regulations
